Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a school-wide behaviour management strategy that encourages positive behaviour from students. It has been shown to improve student's self-concept and their motivation to learn.
Ungarie Central School is a PBL school. This means that expected behaviours are explicitly taught to all students.
Students are expected to display these behaviours at school and in the community. Students will be rewarded for displaying positive behaviour. Negative behaviour will result in appropriate consequences.
PBL is a values based system.
